Andrea Catlett, MAM
Founding Chaplain
Andrea is an ordained, nondenominational pastor and has served a wide variety of ministries for over twenty years. She served as a hospital chaplain at the height of the COVID pandemic in Colorado, and then when she needed to quit due to her disability, she and her husband started Fallen Sparrow. As a fourth-generation pastor, a special needs mom, and someone who is disabled, she naturally advocates and ministers to those who are hurting.
Andrea has endured much loss and medical trauma between herself and her kids. She has a long list of debilitating conditions, and her kids also share some of these diagnoses and more. Her youngest son nearly died in her arms when he was seven months old, and her oldest son is autistic. They often have three to five doctor appointments a week. They have been in the hospital on birthdays and other holidays. Because they might be sick or in the hospital and not celebrate important dates, they often celebrate random holidays like National Chocolate Chip Day when they are healthy and can celebrate.
